The The Summit County Water Rescue Team is based in Breckenridge, Summit County, Colorado. With a mean elevation of 9,603 ft., it makes the Summit County Water Rescue Team one of the highest elevation water rescue teams in the world. The team trains and performs missions between 7,000 ft and 11,140 ft.  The team operates and is on call 24/7 all year round.
